- Valuations –Most organizations need a valuation to assess a potential acquisition but we have also found organizations needing a valuation after they already purchased a book for accounting or other reasons. In today’s environment organizations have bought banks (from the FDIC or otherwise) based on the core bank assets and have received a Trust or Brokerage book “free” and to account for the transaction, a third party valuation is often needed.
